The end is near…

We arrived now in Iasi, Romania which is likely our last stop in this trip. After we left our beloved Corsica we made a (to short and to long at the same time) stop in Venice.

It was not our first visit to that place and this time it went way beyond the standard walk along the canals. We had the luck to be at the right time at the right place and got two  tickets valid for three more days for the public tansport (boats, busses) for 10 euros each (standard price for a 12 hour ticket is 18 euros!) as someone wanted to sell “the rest” of his one week tickets. After using the tickets for a day for trips through the canals and to the  nearby island Lido (where at this time the film festival took place) we sold them again for 10 each as we had to leave Venice.

Entering Slovenia. Close to Triest, Italy. A few meters after passing the boarder to Slovenia there is a service station from where we managed for the second time to get a direct ride to Romania.
